This session will include discussion of NAR’s settlement agreement resolving claims brought by home sellers related to broker compensation, the rationale behind the agreement, it’s implementation and the anticipated effect on settlements and the title industry.

As we approach 2025, Washington DC's economic landscape is evolving, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the community. This talk will highlight the anticipated trends in the District's economy, focusing on key areas such as commercial real estate development, job market dynamics, and rising living costs. We will examine how these factors may affect different sectors and the implications for the economy as a whole.  Additionally, we will explore the role of technological advancements and sustainability initiatives in shaping the future of the District. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how local stakeholders can engage with these trends to promote equitable growth and enhance community resilience in the years to come.

This seminar has been submitted to the District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking for 2.0 title credit hours.  The course level is intermediate.

Credit card payments can be only made online.  If you do not wish to register on-line, you may download the registration brochure and mail in registration with your payment.
 DCLTA is unable to accept credit cards by phone, email or by mail.

Conditions, Rules & Regulations:

DCLTA is not liable for any loss sustained by the participant as a result of the participant’s failure to access the conference website or as a result of any breakdowns, software errors, incomplete or inaccurate transfer of information. The person signing this application on behalf of the exhibitor’s behalf shall be deemed to have full authority to do so and shall have no right to claim against DCLTA that such person or persons did not have authority. The exhibitor is responsible for creating all content for their tabletop.

·   The exhibitor now agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DCLTA management. It’s officers agents and employees against all cost, claims, demands, proceedings, liability, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) whatsoever made against in incurred by DCLTA as a result of related to or arising in connection with (i) a breach of the terms by the exhibitor and (ii) any claims brought against DCLTA that the content or any services or software supplied by exhibitor infringe, violate, trespass or constitute the unauthorized use or misappropriation of any intellectual property from a third party. Exhibitors will only promote products and services regularly sold by them. No products and/or services shall be directly or indirectly sold from within the seminar platform. No virtual tabletops may be shared or subject without prior written permission of DCLTA. Failure to comply is deemed a cause of cancellation of space.

·   All cancellations must be submitted to DCLTA in writing and will be officially dated when received by DCLTA. Cancellations will be accepted at the sole discretion of DCLTA. A $100 processing fee will apply to all cancellations regardless of the cancellation date. DCLTA retains the right to resell any space cancelled by the exhibitor. No refunds after October 25, 2024, will be issued.

· I realize that I and/or my products may be included in the publicity of photos. With this, I give my consent to DCLTA to use in future promotional materials. Completing registration serves DCLTA notice that you agree to be contacted by mail, phone, fax and/or e-mail.
